EP233: Free-Range Children (The Benefits of Children Outside Without You!) with Allana Robinson

We’ve heard all about the need to get our 1000 Hours Outside (thanks to friend of the podcast, Ginny Yurich) but what about getting our kids outdoors WITHOUT us? Joining me today is parenting coach, Allana Robinson. Allana believes the role of outdoor play (and why it needs to be done (from time-to-time) without parents) can be a helpful developmental tool. Her coaching encourages parents to ditch the overwhelm (and confusion) so they can actually focus on things that matter (which is right up my alley!)

About Allana

Allana Robinson is Parenting Coach and CEO of Uncommon Sense Parenting, as well as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, Mom of two, and military wife.  Allana supports parents of toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners in understanding WHY their children are misbehaving and how to fix it without yelling, shaming, or time-outs. Her mission is to empower parents as the expert on their own child and create an inclusive world full of calm, competent, confident kids.
