EP237: Designing Simple Storage Solutions with the Curated Nest

Joining me today are interior designers, Erin and Lina of the Curated Nest. Erin and Lina first bonded over beautiful designs and burritos as sleep-deprived new moms at a mommy meetup in Brooklyn, NY. They had an instant design connection, and with 20+ combined years of experience in interior design and client-focused business, forming a partnership was easy. In this episode, they'll discuss: how Curated Nest helps their clients achieve an organized environment, how to conceal kid's toys with storage solutions, minimalist design and how it applies to families and more..

About Curated Nest

Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, is a New York State Certified Interior Designer, Professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Design), and NCIDQ certificate holder (National Council of Interior Design Qualifications). Erin spent 10 years running her interior design studio, EMC2 Interiors, where she worked on various residential design projects for many amazing families, plus many diverse clients including corporate CEO's, magazine editors, television shows, and celebrity homes. Erin lives in Westchester with her husband, two kids, and fur baby Piper. She misses living in Brooklyn, but likes having space and fresh air.

Lina holds a Bachelor of Science from Yale University, a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University, and studied Interior Design at Fashion Institute of Technology. Prior to becoming a designer, Lina was a business consultant for healthcare organizations for 10 years, with an interest in how environments can promote patients’ well being. Lina has enjoyed working on projects ranging from New York City apartments to full home renovations. She loves integrating solutions that promote child development in her designs for kids. Lina's joy comes from bold designs and color inspired by her Brazillian roots. She misses living in Brooklyn, but is now living her best life by the beach in Fairfield County, CT with her husband and two kids.
